Yarn for Crochet Fade Shawl

I used 3 similiar colours which blended beautifully together. The yarn is a lovely cotton/merino mix. The stitch definition was crisp and smooth and a pleasure to crochet with!

You can make your shawl following the colour sequence below or have fun making your own. The shawl would also look amazing in a gradient cake yarn.

  1. Beautiful shawl, I put my crochet hooks away a long time ago and went to knitting but this shawl has brought my crochet hook out again. It has been years since I have crochet I hope it comes back to me. Thank you for sharing your pattern. nanad

  2. I love this shawl! I was looking for a crochet version of my boomerang shawl I knit and this is what I wanted. I did find an error on color sequence color A should be from rows 64-87 not 187 as shown. Thank you for a great pattern!

    1. Thank you for your kind words, and thank you for spotting error….changed now!

  3. I know this pattern is a few years old as of now, but I just found it…..but my issue is I am getting holes on both sides. Is this normal until its washed? Hopefully I hear back from you.

    1. Hi! Are your stitches on each side too loose? Perhaps ch2 instead of ch 3 for your turning chain:)

      1. Thank you for getting back to me, yes they are loose, I don’t crochet tight. I’ll try that. Again thank you!
