I really wanted to make a pair of socks and love granny squares so this was ideal. I found the instructions for the heel difficult to follow as I’ve never made socks before and I think that the written instructions could have been clearer. However I emailed Simone who replied very quickly with help and a video demonstrating the technique required. I watched this and after a couple of attempts ended up with a decent heel and a lovely pair of socks
