Beginner crochet summer tank top
Let’s get start!
I used Lion brand 24/7 cotton yarn weight 4 aran. I use around 700 yard.
– 5.0 mm crochet hook
– Sewing yarn needle
-your fitting t-shirt
-stitch marker
Size. s to 4xl
( the model wearing small size )
For me the model wearing this piece, I am 4’9 feet tall.

Measurement.
one rectangle 12×16 inch.
Make 2 pieces.
Start of by making a slip knot Then make 42 chains foundation chain (Multiple of 3)
Small chain 42
Medium chain 48
Large chain 57
XL chain 66
2XL chain 78
3XL chain 87
4XL chain 99
Row1. Make 2 dc in the 3rd chain from hook and *sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, and make 2 dc in same ch stitch*. Repeat from * to* end of row. Sc in the last ch of the row. Ch 2, turn.
Row2. 2 dc in the first sc of the previous row, *sk next 2 dc, make sc and 2 dc in next sc*.
Repeat from * to* until the end of the row. Make sc in turning ch 2 at end of row, ch 2, turn.
Row 3 and beyond, and Repeat row 2 until we get 16 inches or more.
Front panel.
Add the lace row to tank top.
Now we are going to make a base row for the lace stitch row.
By make
row1. Sc in each space on the edge of the tank top for 1 row. chain 1 and turn.
row 2. Sc in each stitch until end of the row. chain 1 and turn.
row 3. Sc in each stitch until end of the row. chain 2 and turn to lace row.
Start on the Lace row.
row 1. Dc in same st, * ch1,sk1 dc in next st* repeat this * to * until end of row. ch2 turn.
row2. dc in the same st, * ch1, dc in the chain space from the previous round * repeat this * to * until the end of row, chan 2 and turn.
Row3. and beyound repeat row 2 until you match the lenght of the wide of your t shirt and finished off, leave longtail for sewing.
Back panel.
By make
row1. Sc in each space on the edge of the tank top for 1 row. chain 1 and turn.
row 2. Sc in each stitch until end of the row. chain 1 and turn.
row 3. and beyound repeat row 2 until you match the lenght of the wide of your front panel and finished off, leave longtail for sewing.
Assemble.
After we all finished with the 2 rectangle piece , now time for assembly.
Lay piece of rectangle on top of each other then use yarn needle to sew along to both side.
All done!
