This design is inspired by that nice feeling when spring finally arrives after a long winter. How the scents change subtly, a fresh note in the air, time to pick flowers! Alone or with someone you love. Rub the soft leaves between your fingers, make flower chains, catch the first warm rays of the sun. If you don't feel ready for spring right now, I don't know what will :)

About the pattern

- The sweater can be made in size XS-XL (in the photos size M is worn on an S/M model)

- There are written instructions for most of the jersey. In addition, there is a crochet chart for the sleeve strips.

- Each new section of the sweater is accompanied by a schematic drawing, so it is extra clear where to start each new section.

- There are pictures to explain the embossing stitches for the cuffs and hem.

- There is a tips&tutorials section with useful links


About yarn needed

- The sweater is made with thin sock wool in a Merino/Silk blend (Wool with Verve Silk Sock in the color 'After eight candy' and 'Rocky mountain', 420m/100g) and uses a 2mm and 3,5mm crochet hook.

- For the central color you will need approximately: 215g/903m, (255g/1071m, 285g/1197m, 320g/1344m, 385g/1617m)

- For the contrasting color you will need approximately: 35g/147m, (40g/168m, 40g/168m, 40g/168m, 45g/189m)

- You can also use other yarns that have good stretch, such as any wool or silk or fiber blends. You can also make this sweater in acrylic, but it is my experience that they do not stretch so well. Therefore, you need to make sure that your untensioned knitting tension is the same as the tensioned knitting tension (given in the pattern). This means you don't really have to stretch your work when your sweater is finished.
