I dont know about you but I am ready for Spring! Give me warmer weather, sun and working in the garden. I designed My Garden Cardi for the Spring months were it’s starting to warm up but you might just need a little cardigan over a dress, tee or tank top. I used a fairly new to me yarn CotLin from we Crochet. I really enjoyed working with this yarn. The green color was a bit out of my norm but it paired perfectly with a cute dress I picked up last year.

I loved using this yarn. I haven’t used a cotton yarn in a garment in a long time but I have to say after making this cardigan I’d love to use it more. Something I’m always not too sure about is how to block cotton yarn. So I played with it and found wet blocking or a light steaming worked great. It really didn’t take much though.

I’ve used the CotLin Yarn from We Crochet and you can build a kit of your own HERE. With We Crochet’s Kit Builder you can sub any of their DK weight yarns. I think it would be lovely in their Swish or Gloss. Don’t let the wool fool you. It breathes wonderfully in warmer weather too!
