This is a fun one to make if you’re planning to spend some time outdoors! Bernat Maker Home Dec is a large gauge yarn that pairs with a 8.0mm crochet hook – which means it works up in a flash. The simplicity to this one is that each hexagon is worked up individually and then all are sewn together to create this summer essential. We’ve included a video tutorial on how to work up the hexagons so you have no excuses not to try this one out!

Enjoy!

If you need a bit of help working this through, check out this YouTube Video we created to help you through the trickier parts.

Assembly:

Attach all pieces according to the following diagram. This part can be a bit tricky to keep track of so make sure you keep the diagram handy.

To join, line up each the sides of the hex to plan to attach. Join with a slst to the corner of the first hex and sc both sides together. This will create a pattern on top of simply attaching them together.

Of course, you can always sew them together and same some time on this part.
