Crocheted entirely in UK Double/ US Single Crochet stitches, this flamingo is the perfect project for an intermediate or ambitious beginner crocheter.

Materials:

75g / 135y / 124m of salmon. (body, neck and part of head)
65g / 117y / 108m of grey. (legs and beak)
43g / 77.4y / 71m of apricot. (wings and head)

I used a 4mm hook and 1x ball each of Universal Cotton Supreme in Grey (shade 609), Salmon (shade 616) and Apricot (shade 625)

You can use the yarn of your choice and a hook to match (any dk or aran weight cotton will achieve a similar effect.

2 x 9mm safety eyes
100 – 150g toy stuffing

The flamingo is crocheted in a continuous spiral of stitches in a style called amigurumi.
The pattern is written in English in both UK and US terms.Once purchased, you'll be able download the UK and US versions.

You'll need to know how to make a single crochet stitch (US) or double crochet (UK).
Instructions for making the 'single/ double crochet 2 together' are given.

The finished toy measures approx 70 cms
