What is The Herringbone Half Double Crochet Stitch?

The Herringbone Half Double Crochet is a variation of the basic crochet stitch, the Half Double Crochet. The HHDC Stitch

The herringbone half double crochet stitches is worked up by…

  1. yarning over, inserting the hook through the designated stitch
  2. yarning over and pulling the hook back through the stitch (three loops on hook) now
  3. pulling the hook through one loop (two loops on hook)
  4. Then yarning over and pulling back through the last two loops.

  1. Hi Krista, do you have a pattern for a continuous baby granny square blanket?
I had a pretty one given to me when my daughter was born, and I gave it to someone to figure out the pattern for me, unfortunately this person never returned the blanket and I have no idea where she is, my fault for handing over the blanket……
