I use many different types of yarn. I try to stick with yarn that is available in stores or online. I don’t use discontinued yarns, however, if a year has passed since I published a pattern, then the yarn could possibly be discontinued. I love using cotton, however, for many of the baby bootie patterns I do use acrylic because it keeps better form.

This is a Gift (and the Yarn purchased separately) to my Granddaughter who will be having my Great Granddaughter in July 2024. As she is a School Counselor and crochets - I thought this would be a great project for her Spring Break while basking in the glow of carrying her first child!

The base worked up nicely but I modified the uppers as I felt they were too thick with the suggested yarn weight. Great base pattern though. I would definitely try again with a light weight yarn. Thank you!
