The measurement of one rectangle.

  • 14 inches long for a crop size length. For full-length top is 15-16 inches.
  • 19 inches wide fit bust size 30-36 inches.

First, let’s measure your bust size then divide by 2 for example my bust size is 32/2.

So I will get 16 inches for my size. Feel free to add more inches for an oversize or perfect fit, for example, if I will add 3 more inches for an oversize for my sweater.

If you girl wants your sweater to be loose fitting or oversize just add 3 more inches for your bust after diving by 2.

See the video tutorial for how to make them into your size.

Now we will fold the front piece in half to see where the center stitch is to create the open neck then put the stitch marker in the center stitch.

Now from the center stitch, we will measure 4 inches from the center-left and right so the open neck is equal to 8 inches wide this 8 inches wide for the open neck is for all sizes.

See the video tutorial for a visual demonstration.

Now we will make sc in the first st then dc in the next st back and forward from the stitch marker to the end of the row for 1 inch deep for each side left and right to create the open neck and shoulder.

After we have done with the open neck set the front panel aside and get ready to assemble the pieces.

For the cuff & open neck.

make ribbed band.

3 pieces.

1 piece for the open neck

2 pieces for the cuff.

attach ribbed band.

Always hold the yarn double when crocheting.

The rib band starts with chain 8 depending on how thick you want your band to be mine is around 2.5 inches for chain 8.

So if you want your band bigger to add more chains for example maybe 10 or 12 chains or more.

The length of the ribbing band is just enough to cover your arm and the open neck.

Then attach them by sewing using a yarn needle.
