CESTARI MONTICELLO WRAP PATTERN

I am so happy to finally be able to share the pattern for this summer stole/wrap with you!
When I started working with the lovely Cestari Monticello yarnfrom Yarnthology (if you haven't checked their website out yet you definitely should), I was head over heels with the quality of the yarn!
The yarn is DK weight making it ideal for lightweight spring and summer projects! It's content is 75% cotton and 25% flax (also labeled as vegan and eco-friendly) and I cannot even describe how easy and fun it is to work with!
I used the color Cellar stone to make my wrap! I really love how the light and dark grey shades blend into each other, giving it a rather denim like look! Here’s how you can make your own!
Materials
- Cestari Monticello yarn (Cellar Stone is the color used in the sample), 300gr/750yards
- 3.5mm (E/4) crochet hook
- tapestry needle
Notes
V stitch ( dc, ch 1, dc)
Finished Size
15 inches wide x 51 inches long (18 cm x 130 cm)
If you want to make your wrap wider just work with multiples of 3.
Pattern
Ch 82
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, skip next ch, ch 1, sc in next ch, *skip next 2 chs, 3 ch, sc in next ch,* repeat from * to * until last 2 chs, skip next ch, ch 1, sc in next ch, turn,
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as dc), skip next ch 1, v-st in sc of previous row, skip next ch 3, v-st in sc of previous round, repeat to end, dc in last sc, turn
Row 3: ch1, sc in first st, skip next st, ch 1, sc in ch 1 of previous round (ch 1 of v stich), *skip next st, ch 3, sc in ch 1 of v stitch of previous round, *repeat from * to * , skip last dc (of last v stitch), ch 1, sc in top of ch 3 of previous round, turn
Row 4: Repeat Row 2
Row 5: Repeat Row 3
Continue repeating Rows 2 and 3 until you reach desired length.
Picot Edging
Without breaking yarn, sc in first st, ch 4 snd sl st into first ch ( picot made), ch 3, sc in next sc st, and work another picot.
Continue working as such, and upon reaching last st, fasten off.
