This wild imaginative crochet pattern will very clearly show you how to make this Angler Fish wearable art hat and matching wrist gauntlets.
It is a tested pattern and includes lots of photos to guide you as you work for an easy enjoyable process.

The hat is one size and fits myself, an average adult, and my son, 4 and 6, equally well.
The gauntlets are adult and plus sized.

There are two fin options included: chunky (3rd pic) and lacey (1st and 2nd pic) so you can get exactly the look you are going for.

You will want to work with a stiff yarn such as Red Heart Super Saver (pattern is worked double stranded on an I hook) so it has the right body to wear it. The pink/purple version is a DK weight yarn held quadruple strand. Softer yarns such as Caron Simply Soft could be used, but it would be good to meet gauge (a painless part of the pattern, I promise!) so it it stiff enough to wear.

The pattern is intermediate level. Some stitches include sc, hdc, and working in the round. I(5.5mm) crochet hook is used.
